Meet the Spring Hill Team
Dr. Andrea Petersen
Chiropractor
Dr. Petersen began seeing a chiropractor in Calgary at the age of 15 when she was a member of the Canadian Junior National Luge Team. She found relief from her injuries as well as improvement in her sport performance following chiropractic treatment. This was her inspiration for pursuing a career in chiropractic. She went on to study biological science at the University of Calgary, followed by the Doctor of Chiropractic program at Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. Upon graduating, she provided locum coverage in rural Alberta, and British Columbia. She went on to open a practice in Prince George, British Columbia while she served as Director of Northern Health Region on the BC Chiropractic Association Board of Directors. She now once again resides in Calgary, a decision made to be closer to family and to provide care in the community that she grew up in.
She has a keen interest in athletics and family wellness-based care. Her specialties include manual adjusting, soft tissue techniques, Shockwave therapy, Activator and Sigma-Pro instrument techniques (gentle low-force techniques used to improve joint function and decrease pain). Her mission is to help improve people's health and wellness through evidence-informed chiropractic care and advice.

Motivated by a desire to comprehensively understand human health, wellness, and physiology, she eagerly pursued a career in the field. She graduated with a Bachelor degree in Kinesiology at the University of Lethbridge. It was during this time that her interest in Chiropractic care was ignited and decided to further her studies at University of Western States in Portland, OR where she graduated with a degree in Human Biology and her Doctorate of Chiropractic.

Through her academic journey Dr. Claire has developed a passion for family-based care and athletics. With a combination of manipulation, soft tissue therapies, and rehab based exercise, Dr. Claire strives to empower her patients to achieve goals that are important to them and to get back to the activities they love – no matter what those look like. Her specialties include diversified manual adjusting, soft tissue therapies, and instrument assisted techniques (IASTM). Guided by a commitment to evidence-based chiropractic care, her mission is to elevate overall health and wellness for her patients.
